Sensations
The architectural details of the Villa, from the impressive cellars to the extraordinary tower, from the glacier to the underground escape, have been meticulously restored in full respect of the original building materials; elements and solutions that embrace centuries of history evoke incredible suggestions and offer precious memories of the daily life of various ages.
THE CELLARS
Renovated in full respect of the construction materials used originally and are characterized by an old fireplace on which unfolds a boar hunt by Lanzichenecchi, by wide wood planks and by ancient vats and barrels. It is enriched by a pool area and a room surrounded by large paintings illustrating wide landscapes alongside mysterious doors with railings and steps that lead to underground tunnels and the ice-house.
THE ESCAPE ROUTE
Narrow and with the vault in original stones, tall enough for the passage of the men and women of the time, allowed to the inhabitants of the house to escape and find refuge in the surrounding woods in case of attack by unscrupulous bandits; it is accessed by a little door with railing in medieval style and goes below the surrounding land.
THE TOWER
Allows a 360 degree view of the hills and valleys through windows on four sides from which you can admire the fiery sunsets and romantic auroras sometimes cloaked by low misty blankets that evaporate in the heat of the sun.
